Training
Academic year in the VyatSU starts in September and ends in June (01.09-30.06). Duration of training: BSc/BA (Bachelor) – 4 academic years; MSc/MA (Master) – 2 academic years; PhD (post-graduate) – 3 academic years. All departments provide full-time training. A post-graduate course can be taken externally. Classes are given in Russian and in English. Applicants are enrolled in the VyatSU by the results of the entrance tests.
To enter the VaytSU one should pass the Russian language test. It is possible to take the Russian language course at The Centre of International Training and Cooperation in this university.
Visa invitation
To get the invitation to enter the RF you should submit (by mail, fax or e-mail) for consideration in this university the following papers:
- the filled questionnaire-application,
- a copy of the first two pages from your passport.

After the papers submitted by you are examined, the university will send you the invitation to enter the RF. Get know the procedure of how to register the visa in the Russian Embassy in your country. As it takes about 2.5 months to issue the invitation, you are recommended to send the above mentioned documents not later than 3 months before the beginning of classes.
The Training Agreement
To conclude the agreement about training in the VyatSU it is necessary to submit to this university the following papers:
- the questionnaire-application of a certain form from the Trainee to be enrolled for training in the VyatSU;
- the education certificate equivalent to the RF state ones needed to enter the corresponding level of higher professional education and certifying the obtained qualification (grade), the subjects studied and the marks received for them:
- Bachelor's (BSc/BA), Specialist's course: General Secondary Education certificate
- Master's (Msc/MA) course: Bachelor's or Specialist's diploma
- Post-graduate (PhD) course: Master's or Specialist's diploma
- the notary certified translation into Russian of the education certificates and of the transcripts with the subjects studied and marks in them;
- the certificate of a certain form that the document of education from a foreign country is equivalent to that in Russia;
- the certificate of a certain form that the applicant has passed the Russian language
test. For those who have passed the pre-higher education course at The Centre of International Training and Cooperation in this university or at the preparatory department in any RF state accredited higher educational institution – the certificate of a certain form about successful pre-higher training;
- the health certificate of a certain form (form №286 enclosed) about the fact that the applicant has no medical contra-indications to study in the RF and at this department;
- the certificate valid in the RF that the applicant has no the HIV;
- passport with the visa and migration card;
- 6 photographs 3x4 cm.
The education certificates translated into Russian should be confirmed by the RF Consulate or Embassy in the country of their issue or by a notary in the RF. Foreign documents of education, degrees and scientific titles are subject to the legal procedure of their recognition and RF standard conformation. You can have the HIV test done and the health certificate issued at the Health Centre of the VyatSU. The university has the right to enquire more information from you.
The documents from foreign citizens seeking admission to the departments of the VyatSU are taken:
- for the Bachelor's and Master's courses – till September 1st;
- for the post-graduate and doctoral course – during an academic year.
- for the Russian language training at The Centre of International Training and Cooperation of this university – till December 1st.
Tutoring cost on training courses depends on a number of people in group, and also from quantity of the chosen subjects.
